Visitor statistics

To understand how people find and use this site, it counts page visits with its own, self-hosted statistics. No advertising or third-party tracking services are used, and nothing is sold or shared.

For each visit to a public page we record only:

• the page visited (for example “Music”), without any link parameters;
• where the visit came from, by website name only (for example “Facebook” or “Google”), when your browser shares it;
• the kind of device — phone, tablet or computer;
• an approximate location — city, region and country — estimated from your internet address;
• clicks on a few public links, such as “Book the band”, music platforms and social media (which site, not your details);
• a random anonymous number stored in your browser, so repeat visits are counted once. It contains nothing about you.

What we don’t keep

Your internet (IP) address is used only for a moment, on our own server, to estimate the city, and is then discarded — it is never stored in the statistics. We don’t use cookies for statistics, and we never record names, email addresses, phone numbers, what you type into the booking form (that is handled only as described below), or private links such as agreement-signing pages. The location is an estimate and often points to a nearby city or your internet provider’s location, not to you.

Who can see it, and for how long

Only the band’s website administrators can see the statistics, as totals, lists and an approximate map. Records are deleted automatically after 13 months.

Booking inquiries

When you send the booking form, what you type (name, email, phone, event date, location and message) is saved privately in the band's admin inbox and emailed to the band so they can reply. It is used only to respond to your inquiry, is visible only to the band's administrators, and is deleted on request — contact us through the booking page. It is kept separate from the visitor statistics above.

Opting out

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, no statistics are recorded for your visit. You can also clear the site’s stored data in your browser at any time.

Location estimates use IP Geolocation by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0), looked up on our own server.
